Almeida: "Today, we were unluky, but we have to continue like this to win many games"
The Portuguese midfielder speaks to VCF Media after the match against Villarreal CF
André Almeida was one of those in charge of analysing the match against Villarreal CF on VCF Media. The midfielder has highlighted the team's effort in search of victory.
The game
It was a very complete game on our part. We dominated the whole match and from the one shot they had, they scored against us. That's football. Today we were unlucky, but we have to continue like this in order to win many games.
Continuing in the same way
This is the way. We were a very united team with a lot of desire. If we continue like this, we will do things well.
Recovering a good feeling
This is the Valencia CF of last season; it is our identity. We wanted to win the match, but it was not possible. We have to continue working.
Wanting more
I think the point is not enough. We are all sad. We have to work harder to improve and not depend on luck. We have to create more and do better.
Leading the attack
I feel good when I have the ball. I try to create to help the team play better. I always try to help the team.
The game against Atletico Madrid
We go for the win in every game. It was a shame about today because we deserved the three points. We are going to keep working. Everything is possible in football.
